OUR CLASSES

Join us for friendly, structured one‑hour classes throughout the week. Classes are priced at £7.50 per person, or £14.00 for two classes on the same night. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an improver, our Ballroom and Latin sessions are designed to help you progress confidently at your own pace.

Mondays and Wednesdays focus on one dance per class, while Tuesdays and Thursdays run in four‑week blocks covering both Ballroom and Latin. You can start at any time, and there’s no need to commit to a course — simply turn up and dance.

A key part of our teaching is that we aim to have two teachers in every class, ensuring both leaders and followers receive clear guidance and demonstrations, making learning enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

MONDAY LATIN AMERICAN

TUESDAY IMPROVER PLUS

There is a small, free car park just opposite the social club and adjacent street parking is also available. Enter using the doors to the left of the main entrance down the driveway.

As you enter Great Houghton from the A428, drive through the village and there is a left turning just before the National Speed Limit sign, then an immediate left into the car park.

FRIDAY PRACTICE NIGHTS

This is a great, relaxed environment where everyone is welcome to come along and practice your dancing.

To start off, you'll get a BONUS 30 minute Rock 'n' Roll class, then music will be played for the rest of the evening - the order of dances will be published on the night so you know what is coming up next.

Practice Nights are held once a month on Friday evening at:

BONUS Rock 'n' Roll Class 7:00pm

As this is a practice night, it is a safe environment for you to make mistakes, stop and restart as many times as you like, so please be aware of others on the floor.

There is no need to book and refreshments of tea, coffee, and water will be provided on the night.

Whether you are working on routines for Dance Awards or Competitions, or even just want to dance through what you're currently learning in class, come along and bring your note book or videos and take to the dance floor.

Join us every month for our Tea Dance with a beautiful sprung wooden dance floor, strict tempo Ballroom, Latin, Rock 'n' Roll, and Sequence dancing.

Enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere with the perfect mix of Ballroom, Latin, and Sequence dancing.
Tea, coffee, sandwiches, and cake are all included.
